COSCO SHIPPING is playing a key role in bringing a dazzling multimedia experience to the Paris Olympic Games through a collaborative project with domestic cultural industry clients. COSCO SHIPPING Lines (COSFRE) and COSCO SHIPPING Lines France are working together to ensure the timely and secure delivery of essential equipment for the construction of external multimedia displays at five prominent Olympic venues.
These displays, destined for iconic locations like the Eiffel Tower Stadium and the Champ de Mars Arena, will undoubtedly enhance the visual spectacle of the Games. To achieve this, a massive undertaking is underway involving the transportation of 103 pallets of audio and video equipment from various points across China.
COSCO SHIPPING Lines (COSFRE) is spearheading the logistics, employing a meticulous approach. Utilizing "less-than-truckload" services, they ensure efficient pick-up and delivery of the equipment using smaller vehicles. Once collected, the cargo is carefully consolidated in a Shanghai warehouse before being shipped by sea to Le Havre, France. The equipment is expected to arrive in early July, ready for the next stage of its journey.
Upon arrival in France, COSCO SHIPPING Lines France takes over, overseeing the unpacking, sorting, and final delivery of the equipment directly to each designated Olympic venue. This ensures the equipment reaches its destination swiftly and efficiently, allowing for timely installation and testing before the Games begin.
