RCL will deploy one vessel on the new service, together with Emirates Shipping Line, Global Feeder Shipping, Interasia Lines, KMTC Line, and TS Lines.

According to an RCL spokesperson, the launch of the REA service is part of the company's continuous commitment to enhance its service coverage and to serve the needs of its customers. The new service will provide shippers with faster and more efficient shipping times, reduced costs and complexity, and increased access to new markets.

The REA service is expected to be particularly beneficial to shippers of building materials, chemicals, foodstuffs, and manufactured goods. The service will also provide a valuable link for businesses operating in the landlocked countries of Uganda and Rwanda.
