Qatar Airways Cargo Relaunches Mail Product with Key Enhancements

In recognition of World Post Day today, Qatar Airways Cargo is announcing the relaunch of its Mail product with key enhancements. The new product offers a comprehensive suite of customisable services designed for both traditional and hybrid postal modes, including Express Mail, Priority Mail, Standard Mail, and Empty Mail Receptacles.

One of the key enhancements of the new Mail product is the introduction of 100% electronic data interchange (EDI) at over 110 stations worldwide. This will streamline the booking and processing of mail shipments, making it easier and more efficient for customers.

Another key enhancement is the ability to accept mail shipments from multiple customers from the same origin, regardless of the IMPC code used. This will make it easier for customers to consolidate their mail shipments and save time and money.

Qatar Airways Cargo has also invested in new state-of-the-art technology for its dedicated airmail facility in Doha. The facility now has a daily handling capacity of up to 500 tonnes of mail, equivalent to 15,000 mailbags per day. It is also equipped with advanced tracking solutions and EDI capabilities, allowing customers to track their shipments in real time.

"We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible mail transportation services," said Miguel Rodriguez Moreno, Head of Cargo Products at Qatar Airways. "The relaunch of our Mail product is a testament to this commitment. We have invested in new technology and enhanced our services to meet the evolving needs of our customers."

Qatar Airways Cargo is a leading global air cargo carrier, with a network that spans over 160 destinations. The company is known for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence. The relaunched Mail product is yet another example of Qatar Airways Cargo's commitment to providing its customers with the best possible service.
