Press Release

Philip Hill, Unitpool's CEO, says, "Our global approach to ULD repairs has brought enormous benefits to Unitpool and our customers with our ability to repair ULDs as close as possible to the point of damage, and thereby bring airline containers and pallets back into service in the shortest possible time. Following a comprehensive and lengthy review by British Airways World Cargo, Unitpool was finally selected to provide ULD repair services and also extensive ULD logistics services within the UK."

Hill added, "A number of airlines have followed our development in the area of global ULD repairs, and in the case of BA World Cargo, have decided to apply the model for the repair of their ULDs. As British Airways further expands its operations through the addition of new routes there will be an increasing need to optimise ULD usage and ensure constant availability. The alternative being, further perhaps unnecessary, investment in additional ULD assets. We highly appreciate the decision of BA World Cargo to select Unitpool and look forward to developing an even broader ULD repair network to meet the growing demands of our business."
