Heavy-lift project cargo specialists, Project Professionals Group, has a new corporate logo that reflects its global reach and core business of innovation and safety.
PPG’s General-Manager Kevin Stephens said today from the group’s Brisbane, Australia, headquarters that the group’s rapid growth to 116 locations in 84 countries, since its formation in August 2007, had brought forward plans for a corporate rebranding.
“With a well-established network of members we feel it is time to strengthen our marketing activities with an eye on long-term branding and a key part of this is a fresh, creative logo that will attract international recognition,” Mr Stephens said.
With the support of its members’ Advisory Committee, PPG has adapted the Plimsoll Load Line into its new corporate logo, with the company name in strong blue lettering.
Mr Stephens said the Plimsoll Line was historically synonymous with innovation and load safety around the world which were vital factors within the project cargo sector.
“The new PPG logo links our heavy-lift, over dimensional cargo expertise, with a vessel’s safe draft in different densities of water and expected sea conditions and is a creative departure from the image created by other transportation themes,” Mr Stephens said.
He said PPG was firmly committed to ensuring it was the best network of project forwarding professionals in the world, whilst partnering with one another to build business and increase market awareness.
