Mr. Simone, who also has been with CD&L, Inc. for more than 30 years, was named Vice President in Velocity’s Northeast Region, which includes the states of New York and New Jersey. He will focus especially on serving the Company’s significant business with financial institutions. He will be headquartered in South Hackensack, New Jersey.
Mr. Simone will report to Mike Ruccio, who has five years of experience with Velocity Express and 22 years within the industry. Mr. Ruccio stated, “We are excited about having Dominick in this valuable role where he can continue to lead customer relationships and deliver quality solutions backed by his notable experience.”
