Kerry Logistics – the international logistics provider – is continuing its expansion into Europe and is now offering Polish customers a connection to its globally operating logistics network focusing on Asia and China. The Managing Director of the new national company and Warsaw branch will be Piotr Zborowski (36). Following the Czech Republic, Poland is the second country where the Chinese logistics company is creating new jobs by implementing its strategy of further expansion into eastern Europe, which was announced some time ago. Kerry Logistics is one of the first Chinese logistics companies in eastern Europe and offers its customers a Polish management coupled with over 20 years’ experience as one of China’s biggest logistics providers.
Poland is one of the most dynamic national economies in the European Union. The new Kerry Logistics branch is located close to Warsaw airport. Polish customers now have direct connections to the major Asian economic centres and direct contacts on the spot in the country for air and sea freight, as well as various logistics services. “Kerry Logistics is one of the first Chinese logistics companies to establish such a strong presence in Poland. We aim to facilitate access for Polish companies to the Chinese market and vice versa. The office in Warsaw is just the first step in our commitment in this region. Kerry Logistics not only offers pure single-source freight services and a full-coverage network in China, but also complex and high-quality contract logistics solutions. Additional branches in Poland will follow in the short term,” says Piotr Zborowski, who is responsible for the Polish national organization. He has 14 years’ logistics experience at DHL, Emery and UPS SCS under his belt. “Poland has enormous economic power and we enable our customers to further enhance their performance through their cooperation with Kerry Logistics,” explains Albert Klamert, Managing Director Austria and Eastern Europe, who is developing the national company from his base in Austria. “We aim to become one of the top players in Asian logistics. Customers nowadays are demanding value added, for example through extensive sourcing as well as new sales markets. We offer them precisely that through our own Asian network with over 1.1 million sq. m. of warehouse capacity and a wide range of value-added services,” comments Michael Dieckmann, Managing Director Central Europe at Kerry Logistics.
