African Cargo and Logistics Alliance (ACLA) is a pan African premier independent freight forwarders group based in Lagos, Nigeria.
African Cargo and Logistics Alliance is a crystallized organization of some visionary independent Freight Forwarders and Logistics Practitioners who want to contribute their quota to the transformation and integration of the African economy into the global economic grid otherwise known as globalisation.
"It was based on the above and the co-incidental formation of the New partnership for African Development (NEPAD) by the African Heads of State that we capitalized on to start a wake up call, letting Aricans know that there can never be any meaningful development in Africa without building an intra-business relationship among African countries and African Business Communities." Says Interim President, Christian Ukata.
"It is a common knowledge that African businessmen travels and do business in Europe, Asia and the USA than they do among African Countries. Therefore we must recognize the in-ward looking factor, which will help in sustaining the foreign investment attractable to Africa, due to her good business environment and large market." He adds.
Christian concludes with, "as an import dependant continent, Africa has come of age in trying to hook up to the ever-growing global economy. Since we are professionals that enhances the movement of goods and services we stand the greatest opportunity of reaping the double benefits doing business at home and globally."
