Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has reaffirmed its strong faith in Air Cargo Africa series of events by signing up once again to become the Gold Sponsor for the forthcoming event, AIR CARGO AFRICA 2017 scheduled to take place at Emperors Palace, Casino Convention Resort, from 21-23, February, 2017.

Within ACSA’s network of nine airports in South Africa, O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB)is the cargo flagship airport with nearly 400 000 tons in 2015 a 5% increase compared to 2014.
O.R Tambo International airport and the City of Ekurhuleni, located in the Gauteng Province which is the economic powerhouse of South Africa, are working closely together towards the development of the Aerotropolis around the airport. An event like the Air Cargo Africa with its networking opportunities will further improve the Aerotropolis concept.
There are strong Aerotropolis developments initiated by most of the South African Provinces which ACSA believes will positively influence the air cargo markets for all of theirairports. Airports Company South Africa participates in these developments by ensuring sufficient cargo infrastructure at all of our airports.
