Damco appoints Andy Lim as Country Manager for Cambodia

Singapore, 20 August 2010 – Damco, one of the world’s leading logistics and supply chain management service providers, has appointed Andy Lim as Country Manager for Cambodia.

Andy will assume responsibility for all aspects of the logistics and freight forwarding business in Cambodia.

On his new appointment, Andy said, “I am very excited to work in an emerging market with so much growth potential. Damco has been in Cambodia since 1995 and we have a strong presence here with our own dedicated accounts and warehouse management teams. Our focus is on providing comprehensive supply chain solutions to support our customers’ logistics needs into and out of Cambodia.”

Andy has vast experience in the logistics industry in emerging Asian markets, having worked in China, Indonesia and Philippines. In his 13-year logistics career, Andy has worked on both sides of the fence - as a third party logistics provider as well as a user of 3PL services. Before joining Damco, Andy held a series of management positions in YCH Group.

Andy reports to Narin Phol, Cluster Manager for Damco in Vietnam and Cambodia.

“Andy brings a comprehensive understanding of commercial and operational strategies and strong track record of management success in Asian emerging markets to this role. I am confident he will lead the team to continue delivering effective solutions and excellent service to our customers,” Narin said.
