Serge Tripet has been appointed Global Head of Sea-Air Product in a newly created role at Damco’s Airfreight department. Serge assumed his new duties on June 1st, 2010 and is based in Copenhagen.
Serge Tripet, brings extensive experience in many areas of sales and marketing and of the air transport and logistics sector to his new function. He is 45 years old, Swiss national and is fluent in French, German and English. He has held various management positions with Swissair and SWISS, Swissport and most recently as Director Cargo for Gulf Air. In his various functions, he has been based in China, Singapore, Switzerland and Bahrain.

His primary responsibility is to further strengthen Damco’s Sea-Air product and his direct experience with field management, air cargo logistic and Sea-Air uplift especially of the Asia Pacific, European and Middle Eastern area makes him well positioned to ensure a focused development and continuous expansion of Damco’s airfreight services.
