Due to problems recently experienced in obtaining Greek entry visas for international delegates, the venue of the Freightbook Sales & Networking Weekend has now moved to Antalya, Turkey.
With over 10 years experience of organizing international freight conferences, Freightbook management are aware that face to face meetings are integral in developing and maintaining business. Therefore, all their 450+ registered companies are invited to register their place at the 1st Freightbook Sales and Networking Weekend from 6-7 November 2010 at the 5 star Cornelia De Luxe Resort, 35 km from Antalya International Airport.
Managing Director, Rachel Humphrey said "Today’s technology makes it easier for overseas agents to keep in touch using email, iPhone’s, Blackberry’s, MSN, Skype VOI, etc. At Freightbook we embrace technology and have developed online networking facilities, including our 'Online Groups' section. However, it is a proven fact that meeting face to face is, and always will be, the key to business success.
We specifically ensured the meeting was scheduled over a weekend so that our delegates working week won’t be disturbed. Our networking event will be a neutral 1-2-1 B2B opportunity designed to provide a platform for Senior Managers from all over the world to meet and network. And where better than Turkey - the perfect location for an international conference as it forms a natural bridge between Asia, Africa and Europe!"
Freightbook have developed an online 1-2-1 Appointment Planner so that each delegate can schedule up to 32 individual business meetings with companies from all over the world before they arrive – all over one very profitable weekend. The all-inclusive Registration Fee (E595) is a tax-deductible business expense that unlike similar events, includes 5* hotel accommodation, all food and drink for the entire weekend at no extra cost and without any surprises.
Rachel added "We are delighted with the tremendous success that Freightbook has achieved in less than a year since our formation. I believe this is due to the recession accelerating the migration of advertising spending to digital technology. Online advertising within the freight industry is growing fast as business owners recognise that neutral platforms like Freightbook provide the perfect component for their Internet marketing strategies."
Freightbook’s long term goal is to be a one-stop-website for the entire freight industry, where companies can promote their services, find new partners and use the latest Internet technology to network and communicate with each other. www.freightbook.net
