LOGICAL-LINK ANNOUNCEMENT

After extensive studies and preparation, the market is ready for the introduction of our daily all water-borne service Logical-Link, between the ports of Felixstowe and Teesport. Logical-Link will provide a realistic alternative to road transport for a vast array of destinations in northern UK.

Press Release

We are all now conscious of the impact that road transport is having on our environment and Logical-Link will offer not only cost advantages, but also an opportunity for us to be socially responsible, by lessening environmental impact, quite apart from offering relief to our overburdened road network. The Logical-Link option will give the ability to load in Felixstowe today, for delivery in the north of the UK the following morning, thus offering a reliable cost-effective alternative.

The potential customers that we have contacted to date are keen to know when the commencement of our service is scheduled and we can advise that we are now in detailed discussions with the Port of Felixstowe with regard to this service. As you will be aware, the recent quay crane incident on Landguard Terminal in Felixstowe is affecting operations at the port. The Port of Felixstowe have stated that, due to the impact of this incident, they cannot confirm the start date at the current time.

As soon as we receive positive information, an announcement will be made with regard to our first sailing. In the meantime, we will keep you fully up-to-date with the preparation and, of course, to ensure you are given plenty of advance notice.
