Van Dieren Maritime increases Göteborg rail service into daily departures. From Tuesday 26-05-2009 Van Dieren Maritime increases the weekly rail service between Herne (DE) and Göteborg (SE) from 3 departures North- and Southbound per week into 5 departures North- and Southbound per week Van Dieren Maritime offers daily train departures from Herne to Sweden.
By expanding the number of departures from Herne to Göteburg and back from 3 to 5 departures, a superfast A>B connection can be achieved between Germany, Benelux and France to Sweden, area Stockholm – Göteborg and Helsingborg. The rail terminal in Göteburg is also used as hub for rail connection to Norway and northern Sweden. With a number of total 38 shuttle trains, van Dieren Maritime offers daily departures between Herne to and from Helsingborg, Nässjö, Norrköping and Göteburg.
By using its own (mega) trailer and container operation, Van Dieren Maritime is able to offer a competitive, environmental friendly, durable and very vast door to door transport solution. As a fully owned subsidiary of the Samskip group, Van Dieren Maritime also offers short sea services between Baltic states, Scandinavian countries, England, Ireland and South Europe. Via the port of Rotterdam Van Dieren Maritime has access to the intermodal pan European Samskip network.
