UK based Scandinavian road freight operator, OceanBlue Logistics Limited is celebrating its first year anniversary. The company has had an excellent first year with many more to follow!
OceanBlue Logistics is this week celebrating its first year anniversary. Since forming OceanBlue the company has had an excellent first year in business.
The main activity of the company is the export of part loads and groupage from the UK to Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark and now regularly exceeds more than 250 tonnes of cargo being shipped every week.
Director, Rob Salt explains, "The key to our success is that our team is dedicated to the Scandinavian market, we all have valuable experience, contacts and knowledge in this area and being a small team the personal service we offer is much higher than some of the bigger boys in this market."
He adds, "For example, it is not unusual for us on a Friday night or Saturday morning to be supervising the loading of our customer's cargo or even helping out in the back of a trailer at our Immingham terminal. The input of our Scandinavian partners has been vital in expediting a speedy and professional service.
Rob explained, "We already have very big plans for 2007 in hand and by the end of the year will see the launch of our new state of the art terminal on Immingham docks."
Additionally, OceanBlue have also secured new partners and services in other markets. Rob advised, "The Benelux countries have been very good for us these past 12 months as we have managed to break into these new markets, further a field in the Caribbean, China and UAE too.
Rob concludes, The past year has seen rapid growth and expansion which has been achieved in a controlled manner. It has been hard work but we have stuck to our principles that customers want a good service with competitive pricing and that personal touch.
