The WWPC (Worlswide Project Consortium) is scheduled to hold its sixth annual conference at the Hotel Las Américas Global Resort, Cartagena, Colombia on 11th-12th May, 2006.
Previous conferences (Brussels 2001, Hong Kong 2002, Lisbon 2003, Istanbul 2004 and Cancun 2005) were all huge successes and we have grown each year into a world-class industry event. WWPC General Manager, Kevin Stephens, states "we expect Cartagena 2006 to continue that great tradition".
The WWPC is building on its solid foundations forged over the past seven years. The WWPC was the first company of its type in the world and offers significantly more than just networking and annual social meetings. Formed in 1999, it has grown from humble beginnings (30 members) to 90 offices in 78 countries worldwide, and growing.
The theme of WWPC's 6th annual conference is once again “Partnering-For-The-Future”, with the major focus of the event being to create more business awareness between members and concentrating on face-to-face interaction to build solid relationships in the most cost effective manner. Members will be afforded the opportunity to meet a multitude of partners to discuss past, present and future business relationships, exchange sales leads and develop a range of business possibilities that could only achieve by constant and expensive business trips.
Being a member of the largest dedicated project forwarding organization in the world, there is no other event that comes close to introducing participants to the quality and quantity of project and general shipping opportunities for new business than this annual conference.
