Initial AppExchange products address sales quoting and PayPal donation integration needs for salesforce.com customers
Southborough, MA and SAN FRANCISCO, salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference - October 9, 2006 – Theikos, Inc., an IT consultancy and leading salesforce.com services partner, today announced the creation of a new product division: AppFactor On-Demand Solutions (www.appfactor.com). This division is focused on creating applications for distribution on salesforce.com’s AppExchange directory that enable companies to manage more and more of their processes on demand with the Salesforce service. The AppFactor products are sold as on-demand subscriptions, providing easy online access to necessary functionality without IT infrastructure headaches.
In coordination with the introduction of the new division, AppFactor On-Demand Solutions is launching a public beta program for its first two products – AppFactor Quoting and AppFactor Payments for the AppExchange at the salesforce.com Dreamforce 2006 user and developer conference.

The 3-step wizard is launched via a Web-link within a Salesforce Opportunity record. AppFactor Payments PayPal Donation Integration
To meet the needs of a growing subset of non-profit clients, the AppFactor Payments solution changes a once labor-intensive manual data entry task into an automated, real-time process. With this subscription, non-profits will be able to have electronic donation notifications from PayPal translated and mapped directly into their instance of Salesforce. This eliminates the possibility of keying errors, and allows them to have accurate, up-to-date donation information in Salesforce that can be reported on at any time. Corporate clients will soon be able to use a version of AppFactor Payments for processing online business-to-business and business-to-consumer transactions.
