The industry's customers, suppliers and providers gathered at The Tawana Bangkok hotel on 10-11th January for the Supply Chain Asia's second Forum.
Last week, nearly 200 delegates gathered in Bangkok for the Supply Chain Asia Forum. There was an overwhelming positive response towards the structure and platform that was created.
Supply Chain Asia Forum offered a great chance to meet colleagues in the industry, talk business with potential customers and partners and discuss issues and developments in supply chain logistics.
Speakers from around the globe, together with moderators answered questions affecting the industry and the open forum allowed discussion with the delegates in sessions over two days. Represented were DHL, UPS & YCH Group from the supply chain world, Xecutive Group and Logistics Recruitment represented their fields together with software houses and other related companies.
Paul Bradley, President of Arshhiya Technologies spoke about 'Meeting Customer Challenges and the Global Competition' then later in the day Essa Al Saleh, MD of Agility Logistics commented on 'Financial Tools as Competitive Weapons.’
Paul Lim, Founder/President of Supply Chain Asia chaired a panel of high profile speakers discussing 'IT & Logistics: Meeting the Challenges.'
Freightnet.com, represented by Phil Morrison was a Supporting Organisation and Pavilion Host which enabled delegates and speakers to discuss matters on a one on one or small group basis.
Networking was order of the day cumulating in a friendly golf competition for those delegates staying on to the third day.
The next Supply Chain Asia Forum is scheduled for July 2007 and will be held in Singapore.
