The year 2007 has seen the Air Cargo industry rise in India and also seen many new airlines entering this segment of the aviation industry. Even though the Air Cargo industry in India is considered as the poor cousin of the passenger segment, the combined efforts of existing players and the new members of this fraternity will surely turn the tables in the years to come. But 2008 has already received a tremendous boost with the AIR CARGO INDIA 2008 international conference & exhibition , the 2nd in the series of AIR CARGO INDIA event which is scheduled to take place from January 23-25, 2008 at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai
The AIR CARGO INDIA 2008 event is the first international air cargo event for the year 2008 and is of high priority in everyone’s itinerary as the galaxy of industry leaders and decision makers participating in the event make it the best networking platform for those associated to this industry. The list of participants in this event includes most of the top notch players and industry stalwarts of the International Air Cargo community.
The conference programme aims to give the views of eminent leaders of the industry on burning issues of the day affecting the industry. There will also be a high profile round table discussion involving the top leaders of the industry and the discussion is to be moderated by the world renowned BBC World Business News Presenter, Mr. Aaron Heslehurst.
The high point of this event is the STAT TIMES International Award for Excellence in Air Cargo, which is slated to take place in the evening January 24, at Tata theatre, National Centre for Performing Arts marking. The year long performance of many a player in the Aviation industry will find fruition here.
The star studded event has attracted more than 30 international journalists among which we have Mr. Aaron Hesselhurst who is the BBC World Business News Presenter, as the Anchor for the show and more than 15 international publications that are participating in the event.

The show is expected to have over 3000 trade visitors who aspire to be a part of the booming Indian Air Cargo market. ACI 2008 has registered over 200 participants from 26 countries so far and is the biggest and only event ever organized in India with respect to Air Cargo.
