CN WorldWide announced today the launch of its international freight forwarding operations in China. CN WorldWide, headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands, offers international freight forwarding services between North America, Europe and Asia and now has offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen.
The Forum features key industry experts who will share best practices on how to navigate the complex North American logistics network. More than 200 Chinese partners, key industry experts, port authorities, company representatives and CN senior executives will discuss how to efficiently move imports and exports between China and North America.
Anita Ernesaks, vice-president and global managing director of CN WorldWide, said: "We are excited about our new China operations. China is a key driver in CN WorldWide's freight forwarding business. Our presence here enables us to better serve our customers in China and support the increasing trans-Pacific trade. This company was built based on fulfilling the customers' needs first and foremost - it is only natural that we wish to be close to our customers in one of the world's biggest export markets."
CN WorldWide differentiates itself by its integrated operational approach, scheduled service, proactive shipment management and strong North American market knowledge - all to meet the customers' needs.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of CN, a leading North American railway company, CN WorldWide draws on its parent company's proven capabilities in precision railroading, reliability, extensive railroad network and trans-loading facilities to offer timely and cost effective solutions.
James M. Foote, CN executive vice-president, sales and marketing, and a member of the board of directors of CN WorldWide, said: "CN WorldWide complements CN's suite of transportation products. It offers international shippers an integrated, seamless, door-to-door freight forwarding service."
