CEVA Logistics wins Environmental Excellence award at ASCL Awards

CEVA Logistics, a world-leader in third-party logistics, has won the prestigious Environmental Excellence award at the Australian Supply Chain Logistics Awards (ASCLA). The award recognizes CEVA's green initiatives in its warehouses and operations.

CEVA has a long history of commitment to the environment. The company has set ambitious goals to reduce its environmental impact, including tripling its use of rooftop solar panels, switching to all LED lighting, and using only low-carbon electricity, all by 2025.

CEVA's environmental achievements in Australia include its West Park supersite in Truganina, which achieved a six-star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). The facility was the first industrial building in Australia to reach this level in the Design & As Built category.

All CEVA sites in Australia are certified with four to six stars based on GBCA's comprehensive rating system. CEVA has already achieved 100 percent LED lighting in all of its warehouses in Australia. In addition, thanks to CEVA's ongoing program to increase waste recycling and switch to low-carbon energy, all sites should achieve at least a 5-star rating by the end of 2024.

CEVA's win at the ASCL Awards is a testament to the company's commitment to sustainability. The company is setting a high standard for the logistics industry, and its achievements are helping to protect the environment for future generations.
