Integration
It’s a wonder freight ever gets delivered given the myriad of systems that exist for managing freight. The last thing you want to hear is that there is yet another system for you to consider.
But what if we told you that Pangaea integrates with any existing internal operating system?
In developing Pangaea, one of our main design goals from the outset has been the eradication of double entry by any party, and improved data consistency across platforms and application boundaries. And through an extensive development process, we’ve achieved this aim.
For example, when a client enters an order into an internal ERP or accounting system, Pangaea monitors this activity and synchronises it with the Pangaea System. It immediately notifies the forwarder, the exporter and an automatically assigned agent that an order has been placed. This data can also be directed into the freight forwarder’s internal operations system which completely eliminates the need for double entry of the order. This reduces response times and removes data inconsistency.

There are many other ways in which system-wide integration occurs. But the complexities that drive Pangaea and enable it to fulfil its many functions are hidden well away from the user. Put simply, Pangaea makes things simpler. And the product’s technology and architecture that facilitate integration between systems, across the globe, is yet another example.
