Q. Do my agents need to subscribe to Pangaea to update my orders?
A. No, when you subscribe to Pangaea, you can add as many agents to Pangaea at no cost.
Q. How do my staff, agents and clients learn how to use Pangaea?
A. Pangaea offers FREE on-demand training videos for your staff, agents and clients. As well as training videos there are help manuals where you can search by keywords to find what you are looking for in seconds.
Q. What do I need to use Pangaea?
A. The only requirements for using Pangaea is a computer that is connected to the internet (a broadband connection is recommended). For full functionality, Internet Explorer (IE 6.0 and above) is the required browser.
Q. Will Pangaea integrate with our internal Operating System?
A. Yes, Pangaea will integrate with any existing internal operating system.
Q. Can I brand Pangaea with our company logo?
A. Pangaea offers the ability to display your company logo on each of the pages throughout the application. In addition to this, your logo is displayed on the login screen. On every email sent from the system, your company logo and details can also be added.
Q. I'm a forwarder, how do I get my forwarding agent to use Pangaea?
A. You can set up Pangaea on their behalf then all your agent needs to do to update orders is to click a link from an email that is automatically sent from the application. You can stress to your agent that is it much quicker to update orders directly into Pangaea this way therefore saving them time and money.
Q. Can Pangaea generate Cargo Status Reports?
A. Pangaea can automatically generate Cargo Status Reports at the click of a button. From the main orders window, simply select which format you would like to export the report in (such as Excel) and click 'export'. Once you have exported to Excel, you have the opportunity to re-format the report any way you want.
Q. How will Pangaea streamline my business?
A. Pangaea links all parties associated with each order enabling them
to communicate directly with each other thus eliminating the requirement for phone calls and faxes. This means all the information about every order is always available from the one place anytime, anywhere. Instead of having to check each morning the status of each order, Pangaea tells you what has changed and what needs your immediate attention.

A. Pangaea reduces costs in a number of ways. With the integration of over 90% of the world's airlines and over 160 shipping lines globally, this eliminates the need to call the air/shipping lines to find out ETA's and ETD's. Less cost to manage shipments as Pangaea automatically alerts necessary parties thus reducing the need to call or fax clients of updates to an order. Pangaea gives you the ability to re deploy resources to other parts of your business.
Q. How do I get upgrades to Pangaea?
A. Anytime Pangaea releases a new set of features, next time you log into Pangaea, you will have access to these new features immeadiately. Updates and features are released quarterly and there is no need to download these or make any changes to your system.
Q. Will our company data be secure?
A. Pangaea employs the latest security techniques ensuring it is stable and secure. Pangaea employs some security restrictions in its interface that may sometimes seem excessive, such as the minimum password complexity and Accept/Decline Business Relationship requirement, but the goal has been to make Pangaea secure by default. Please note that these features exist for your protection, we've worried about Security so that you and your organisation don't have to.
