RJ partners with Globe Air Cargo in Switzerland

Royal Jordanian Cargo has appointed Globe Air Cargo as its general sales agent (GSA) in Switzerland. The appointment is the latest in a series of changes in Royal Jordanian’s cargo commercial organization. Royal Jordanian has three weekly flights to Geneva and Zurich, offering the only direct connection between the Kingdom of Jordan and Switzerland.

Samer Majali, President/CEO of Royal Jordanian commented, “We continue to strengthen our cargo division’s presence in European markets. We are confident of our choice of Globe Air Cargo to represent RJ Cargo in Switzerland.”

Stephane Borella, Manager of Globe Air Cargo, said “Royal Jordanian is the strongest carrier in the Levant, operating a mixed freighter and passenger fleet across the broadest network of any carrier. Geoffrey Weston, Vice President – Cargo, confirmed that recent cargo loads for Royal Jordanian are significantly above 2006, following considerable changes in the composition of the sales teams, both in Amman and at outstations.
