Hactl announces January tonnage throughput

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) released today its tonnage throughput for the first month of the year. Volume handled in January was 192,228 tonnes, up 0.4% year-on-year. Export tonnage for January was 107,205 tonnes, down 0.7% year-on-year. Import volume was 54,437 tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.6%. The transshipment sector showed a 4.3% year-on-year decline in January, with a total of 30,586 tonnes of transshipment cargo being handled.
