WOODLAND INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT CO ON THE MOVE IN THE BIG APPLE
In response to continued expansion, Woodland International Transport Company, a leading independent freight forwarder with offices in the UK, USA and Dublin, has merged its JFK and Oyster Bay offices and has moved into new premises in New York.
Recent growth in air and ocean freight shipments had prompted Woodland to review its office facilities in New York and, as well as providing the company with more space, the move allows Woodland to offer a convenient and centralised point of contact for customers.
Commenting on the merger, Danny Callaghan, President of Woodland USA said: "Trade between the UK and North America (both air and ocean) continues to be strong. As a result we have moved to larger premises, with an office space totalling over 5,300 sq ft, giving us a base from which to grow the business further still.”
