OceanBlue Logistics secure Caribbean Shipments

UK freight forwarder OceanBlue Logistics Limited has secured an exclusive agency agreement with Caribbean freight forwarder BSF Enterprises of Bridgetown.

With immediate effect OceanBlue are to act as UK agent for BSF Enterprises, Bridgetown. The deal will see the two freight forwarders operating their own LCL and FCL service between the UK and throughout the Caribbean.

Director of OceanBlue, Rob Salt says; "We were looking for a part of the world where we could develop our own LCL and FCL services to add to our own European Services, the Caribbean was one area where there did not seem to be too much competition already." He added; "We had been dealing with BSF previously by shipping mineral water from Scotland to Bridgetown, so it seemed like a good idea to expand on this."

Already OceanBlue are about to ship some educational books to a college in Castries, a deal that will see OceanBlue mentioned on the British-Caribbean Chamber of Commerce website. In addition BSF Enterprises already control some ex works shipments from UK to the Caribbean to add to this service.
