IJS Global opens European office

IJS Global, Inc., a fast-growing US multi-modal freight forwarder, customs broker and non-vessel operating common carrier, has opened its first German office in Bremen on October 1, 2006.

The launch of IJS Global's operations in Germany is part of the company's expansion strategy in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). After the launch of new offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Dubai this year, IJS Global is focusing on the German market, which will be built up as a strategic hub for clients and partners within the global IJS-Network. Further expansions and acquisitions are planned in Germany, the United Kingdom, and France in the near future.

The Bremen office will be responsible for serving clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and for coordinating the logistics and sales activities in cooperation with the IJS Global offices and partners within the worldwide network.
