Dublin Start Up IT Cora has signed agreements with the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) and the National Institute for Transport & Logistics (NITL) to distribute its supply chain management solutions program FreightSaver.

FreightSaver gives users access to a database of freight, transport & logistics providers serving the Irish market. All changes in the marketplace including new entrants are tracked and recorded by IT CORA on a month to month basis.

“The decision to approach the IEA and NITL was taken to ensure that FreightSaver, the product had the correct industry backing and representation” said company founder Noel Good.

Freight Spend per annum is one of the few costs that a company has real scope to alter and reduce. The aim is for FreightSaver to become the industry standard when it comes to requesting quotations.

IEA chief executive John Whelan said the software could give Irish Exporters a distinct competitive advantage in the international marketplace.

FreightSaver will play a crucial role in assisting Irish companies in obtaining the most competitive quotations from all of the various forms of shipping on an import, export or domestic basis. Noel Good established IT Cora in the Docklands Innovation Park with Enterprise Ireland backing.
