DFDS Transport becomes DSV

The transport and logistics group DFDS Transport A/S will change its name to the listed DSV A/S as of today. Thus there will only be one name to keep an eye on for the customers, employees and shareholders.

Since the acquisition of DFDS Dan Transport Group A/S in the year 2000, DSV has been operating under the name DFDS Transport A/S. This has resulted in some confusion not least to shareholders, who have seen the company referred to as DFDS Transport A/S, but have traded shares at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange under the name DSV A/S. Therefore, it has been decided that in future DSV A/S will be the name of the Group’s companies which will continue to operate within the three different divisions: DSV Road, DSV Air & Sea and DSV Solutions.

The name change is furthermore a consequence of the acquisition of the Dutch Frans Maas and thereby indicates a new start in the joint company for a total of 19,000 employees worldwide.

It has furthermore been decided that in those areas where the name of Frans Maas is very well known, DSV will operate under the name DSV Frans Maas. This is primarily prevailing in the Netherlands as well as in a number of Eastern European countries.
