Itella expands strongly its consumer parcel operations in Estonia nationwide - Itella uses 50 R-Kiosk’s outlet network as drop off points for consumers

Itella Logistics and R-Kiosk have made on agreement to enlarge their co-operation in Estonia to 50 centrally located R-Kiosk’s indoor outlets in all biggest cities. R-Kiosks indoor outlets are used for Itella Parcels drop-off points. Itella and R-Kiosk started their co-operation in Tallinn area in March 2008. Positive results achieved encouraged parties to increase the co-operation nationwide.

R-Kiosk can provide centrally located kiosks, with long opening hours seven days a week and personal customer service, so it is easy and convenient for consumers to pick up their parcels, says Jüri Võssokov, Managing Director, R-Kiosk Eesti AS.

For Itella as service logistics provider it is important to provide coverage network and alternatives for consumers. Last week Itella also signed an agreement with SmartPost to use their automated parcel terminal network of 20 machines in Estonia as drop-off points.

- We believe that we can together with our partners improve the service for Estonian consumers. Itellas network with R-Kiosks and SmartPost automates is really covering all Estonia nationwide.
