OceanBlue Logistics Announce new Sweden Partner

With effect from January 1st 2008, OceanBlue Logistics Limited and Effet AB (Effective Transport Solutions) formed a strategic partnership for their combined UK - SWEDEN - UK traffic.

Effet AB is a privately owned company headquartered in Gothenburg.

They have excellent warehouse facilities and a complete distribution service covering the whole of Sweden. These facilities allow Effet to be able to offer a quick and reliable service with a complete package for Swedish importers and exporters.

The OceanBlue Logistics team has worked with Effet for several years that has built the grounds for a good working relationship which in turn has progressed to this exclusive agency agreement.

Both companies felt the UK/Sweden/UK groupage and part load market needed a new dimension and as both parties were already active, their combined traffic gives them optimum combinations, allowing better rates and transit times to clients.

Since its formation in 2005 OceanBlue’s export traffic has grown considerably often topping 100 tonnes every weekend.

The New Year sees a combined sales and marketing campaign in the UK by OBL’s sales team Rob Salt and Chris Littlewood matched and co-ordinated in Sweden by Effet’s Mats Nordmalm.
