CARGOLUX INTRODUCES SERVICES TO HO CHI MINH CITY

As a result of promising market development in this region, Cargolux introduces a twice weekly service to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, starting on 29 October 2007.

CV 7941 is operated every Monday evening out of Luxembourg, via Dubai/U.A.E., with arrival in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday afternoons. This flight returns as CV 7952 via Bangkok, arriving in Luxembourg on early Wednesday mornings. The second flight, CV 8925, is operated out of Luxembourg on Friday evenings, via Dammam/Saudi Arabia, with arrival in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday afternoons. It returns as CV 8536, operating via Hong Kong and Sharjah, with arrival in Luxembourg on Sunday mornings.

Both flights offer connections to Cargolux’s worldwide network as well as its extensive European trucking network.

Cargolux expects to carry mainly general cargo, consumer goods, and spare parts to the new destination, contributing to the growth of local industries. From Vietnam, Cargolux will mainly fly garments, footwear, handicraft, and electronics to Europe, with additional seafood products, fruit and vegetables for Asian destinations.
